Privacy Policy

Short version: this is a site of written pages. It does not have accounts, logins, carts or checkouts, and it collects as little as a website can while still functioning.

What is collected

• Server logs. Standard web-server records — IP address, timestamp, page requested, referring page, browser string. They exist for security and for fixing faults, and are discarded on a rolling basis.
• Aggregate traffic counts. Which pages are read, in totals. Not tied to a named person.
• Email you send. If you write to the contact address, your message and address are kept only as long as needed to deal with it.

What is not collected

No accounts, no payment details, no advertising profiles, no cross-site tracking, and no data about you built up from other sources.

Selling data

Nothing collected here is sold, rented or traded. It is not shared with third parties except where a hosting provider necessarily handles it in order to serve the site, or where the law requires disclosure.

Cookies

No tracking or advertising cookies are set. Web fonts are loaded from a third-party font service, which means your browser makes a request to that service when a page loads.

Opting out

You can browse with cookies blocked, scripts disabled or a tracking blocker enabled and every page will still work as written. To have an email exchange deleted from the inbox, ask at the contact address and it will be removed.
